Support Skills is made up of two training bundles with interchangeable courses to suit the needs of your team. By combining both we focus on person-centred care that is practical in nature, we aim to help organisations upskill their workforce.

Bundle 1
Bundle 1 includes the nationally accredited unit HLTAAP001 – Recognise Healthy Body Systems. The client can then choose one additional unit from the following options:
• HLTHPS006 – Assist Clients with Medication
• HLTINF006 – Apply Basic Principles of Infection Prevention and Control
• HLTOUT010 – Communicate in Complex Situations to Support Health Care
Completing HLTAAP001 together with HLTHPS006 meets the requirements for the nationally recognised Skill Set: CHCSS00070 – Assist Clients with Medication.
Bundle 2
Bundle 2 offers non-accredited training in a variety of essential care areas, including bowel care, stoma care, catheter support, dysphagia management, diabetes care, seizure response, and mental health support.
Participants are required to choose four subjects from this bundle, allowing them to tailor their learning to the specific needs of their role or workplace. These courses provide practical, hands-on knowledge to support safe and effective care delivery.
